30 Individuals Arrested for Various Crimes and a Quantity of Firearms and Drugs Seized

The Lebanese Army command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 11/11/2024, an army unit arrested at the Madfoun Checkpoint – North the citizens (AA.R.), (H.AA.), and (B.R.) and seized an amount of drugs and a military pistol in their possession.

Moreover, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided several Syrian refugee camps in the Bekaa region and arrested 26 Syrians for illegally entering Lebanese territory and roaming without identification documents. During the raid, two vehicles and several motorcycles were seized, along with a quantity of firearms, ammunition, and military gear.

Furthermore, another patrol from the Directorate arrested in Al Beddawi – Tripoli the citizen (AA.M.), who was wanted under several arrest warrants for opening fire, and seized a military pistol and an RPG launcher in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
