The army arrested a citizen for committing several crimes, including opening fire on an army patrol and forming an armed robbery gang

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Intelligence Directorate arrested a citizen (AA.Y.) in the outskirts of Brital - Baalbek, for committing several crimes, including opening fire on an Army patrol, forming an armed robbery gang, drug trafficking, and involvement in kidnapping operations. Authorities seized a military weapon, ammunition, and military equipment from his possession.

The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and an investigation has been initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
