Army arrests those responsible for the armed dispute in the Qamouaa– Akkar

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

An army unit raided the residences of wanted individuals in Fnaideq – Akkar, who were involved in shooting during an armed dispute in  Qamouaa area – Akkar, resulting from longstanding disagreements over land ownership in the area. The army arrested the citizens (R.S.) and (Kh.S.) and seized a quantity of military weapons, ammunition, and military equipment.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved in the dispute.
