The Army Arrests Three Individuals for Opening Fire and Seizes a Vehicle Containing a Large Quantity of Drugs

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
An army unit arrested the three citizens (S.Z.), (M.AA.Z.), and (M.H.Z.), in Hay Al Sharawneh - Baalbek for shooting into the air near an army post. A quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized in their possession.
In a separate operation, another army unit seized a vehicle carrying a large quantity of drugs on the Zarazir road –Baalbek following a security surveillance and monitoring operation.
The confiscated items were handed over to the relevant authorities, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
