The army carries out raids on the residences of shooters during funeral processions in the southern suburb (Dahyeh Janoubieh) and Baalbek, and arrests four individuals involved, including one wanted under multiple arrest warrants

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Further to the two previous statements related to the pursuit of individuals who opened fire during funeral processions in the southern suburb (Dahyeh Janoubieh) and Baalbek, army units raided the residences of those involved. In the southern suburb, two participants in the shooting and another citizen wanted under multiple arrest warrants were arrested.

The citizen (H.N.) was also arrested in Al Sharawneh neighborhood in Baalbek , and (S.A.) in Brital for their involvement in the shooting during a funeral procession in Baalbek, and a quantity of weapons and military ammunition was seized.

 The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining shooters.
