Arrest of 3 individuals in Bebnine - Akkar for brandishing weapons and opening fire

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Following the previous statement regarding the operation to raid and arrest of 10 individuals involved in gunfire and armed incidents during a funeral ceremony in Bebnine - Akkar on April 28, 2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residences of wanted individuals in the town on May 10, 2024. The citizens (B.K.), (M.K.), and (A.K.) were arrested for brandishing weapons and engaging in opening fire from firearms and RPGs into the air.
The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
