Arrest of 4 citizens and 17 Syrians within the framework of security measures in various regions

The Lebanese Army Command-Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Within the framework of the security measures being taken by the military institution in various regions, Army units, each supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, arrested 21 persons as follows:
•Raided the residence of the citizen (H.A.) in Hay Al Selloum - Baabda, and arrested him as he was wanted for the shooting and injury of a person.
•Arrested the citizen (AA.A.) in Al Masyada - Arsal, as he was wanted for trafficking in military weapons.
•Arrested the citizen (A.A.) in Harbata - Bekaa for possessing firearms.
•Arrested the citizen (AA.H.) in Bab Al Raml - Tripoli for being involved in a clash that involved gunfire, which led to the injury of a citizen, and a military pistol was seized in his possession.
•Arrested 11 Syrians in Chadra - Akkar for illegally entering Lebanese territory.
•Raided the residences of wanted individuals in Niha - Bekaa and arrested 6 Syrians for illegally roaming within Lebanese territory.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
