The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander and the German ambassador sign a grant agreement worth two million euros from the German authorities to support the army as an additional contribution to a similar grant that was previously provided

The LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun and the German Ambassador to Lebanon, Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried, signed an agreement under which the German authorities provided a grant of two million euros to support the army, one million euros will be allocated for fuel supply, and another million euros will be used to support healthcare. This grant is an addition to a similar grant that was previously provided. General Aoun considered this assistance to be of utmost importance given the current exceptional circumstances and expressed his appreciation to the German authorities for standing by the military institution. The German ambassador also affirms that his country is committed to supporting the army through various means, given the vital missions it undertakes.
