Meeting between the LAF Commander and the Minister of State for Defense, Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar, and Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces during his visit to Qatar

During his visit to Qatar, the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun met with the Minister of State for Defense, Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar, His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyeh, in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Major General Pilot Salem bin Hamad bin Akil Al Nabet. The discussions focused on ways to support the army in facing challenges and the importance of that for maintaining the readiness of the military institution.
General Aoun presented the difficulties facing the military institution and its essential needs in the context of its commitment to its national duty.
Earlier, General Aoun had also met with the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, and the discussions revolved around developing cooperation between the Qatari and Lebanese armies, especially in the field of training.
