Obituary of Retired General Mustafa Al Barki

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation mourns General Mustafa Al Barki (760107), who passed away on 9 May 2026. Below is a brief biography of his life:

• Born on 15 September 1951 in Alkechk-Saida.
• Enlisted in the Army on October 1, 1973, and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on July 1, 1976. He subsequently advanced through the ranks until attaining the rank of Brigadier General effective April 3, 2006.
• Awarded several medals, as well as commendations and congratulations from the Army Commander on multiple occasions.
• Completed several training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
• Married and father of three children.
