Raid and arrest of 5 individuals as part of the pursuit of those involved in the shooting at the US Embassy

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the pursuit of those involved in the armed attack on the US Embassy in Awkar, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate and an army unit raided several residences in the towns of Sawiri and Majdal Anjar - West Bekaa, and arrested the Syrian (A.J.) and the citizen (A.Z.) on suspicion of their involvement with the Syrian (K.F.), the shooter who attacked the Embassy, and 3 members of his family.

The army continues the raid operations in parallel with its pursuit of the investigations under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
