Raid on the residences of suspects in a clash and arrest of an individual in the Shwaghir - Hermel

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following a clash that occurred in Shwaghir - Hermel, which involved the exchange of gunfire, an Army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of those involved in the clash and arrested the citizen (AA.S.). They seized military weapons, RPG grenades, a quantity of ammunition, as well as military equipment.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities. Follow-ups are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
