Raids following an Incident that Resulted in the Death of one Citizen and the injury of two Others

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 24/3/2026, an incident involving a shooting in Nejmeh Square – Tripoli, resulting in the death of one citizen and the injury of two others involved in the incident. The injured were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, on March 25, 2026, an army unit carried out raids in search of those involved and arrested a citizen (GH.D.) for his involvement in the incident. Military ammunition and equipment were seized.

The seized items were handed over, and efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved in the incident.
