Visitors of the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief

The Army Commander –in- Chief General Rodolph Haykal received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Ms. Jeanine Hennis–Plasschaert, at his office in Yarzeh and they discussed general developments. Plasschaert praised the efforts of the military institution and expressed her appreciation for the Army’s role in maintaining stability.

He also received the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Sultan Ali Suleiman Al Sharji. Discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation between the Army and the friend State of Kuwait.

General Haykal then received MP Ahmad Al Khair, and the discussions addressed how the military institution could contribute to supporting development projects in Al Minieh –Donniyeh.
